Guitar Tab Editor

Guitar Scribble is a free online fully functional guitar tab editor that does not require rhythm entry. Upon (PDF/PNG) export, lines will appear solid for quality printing and display.

Quick Guide: Click to set cursor • Type 0-9 for frets • Type | for bar lines • Backspace to delete • Arrow keys to move • Tuning: Click tuning letters (e, B, G, etc.) to edit for alternate tunings like Drop D, DADGAD, or sharp/flat tunings (e.g., D#, Eb). • Symbols: Select notes, then click buttons to add hammer-ons, slides, bends, pre-bends, vibratos, or harmonics. Most buttons cycle through options (click repeatedly). • Picking marks: Click a note, then click ⊓ (downstroke), V (upstroke), or letters p/i/m/a/c (fingerpicking) or T (tapping). • Chords: Position cursor, click ♪ Chord button, type chord name (e.g., Am, C#m7), press Enter. Click again at same position to remove. • Zoom: Use + / − buttons in the toolbar to zoom in/out for easier viewing (doesn't affect exports). • Edit shortcuts: Ctrl+C/X/V for copy/cut/paste • Ctrl+Z/Y for undo/redo • Ctrl+Backspace to remove last column • Select across strings with Shift+Arrow keys. • View Full Instructions & Help →
