What happens to my saved tabs if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. If you have more saved tabs than your free plan allows when you return to the Free plan, you'll still be able to view and export all of them, you just won't be able to save new ones until you're under the limit or re-subscribe.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes! You can manage your billing cycle from your Account page at any time. If you switch from monthly to annual, you'll get the discounted rate starting on your next billing date.
Do I need a Pro account to use the tab editor?
No. The tab editor, metronome, tuner, and chord diagram creator are completely free to use. Pro unlocks unlimited cloud saves, cleaner exports, and tool presets.
What's included in a free account?
A free account costs nothing, needs no card, and never expires. You get the full tab editor with a playback preview, plus the metronome, tuner, ear training and scales chart. Your account saves up to 3 tabs, 3 chord sheets, 3 chord progressions, 3 chord collections, 20 chord diagrams and 1 set list to the cloud, so you can pick them up on any device. You can export PDF and PNG files (with a small watermark), open progressions in iReal Pro, and share chord collections by link. Pro removes the watermark and every save limit and adds full playback, and you can try it free for 7 days whenever you like. Create your free account
How does billing work?
Payments are handled securely through Stripe. You can pay with any major credit or debit card. Your subscription renews automatically, and you can cancel anytime from your Account page with one click.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Pro is free for 7 days. You enter a card to start, nothing is charged during the trial, and the plan you picked begins when the trial ends. Cancel before then from your account page and you are charged nothing at all. We email you when the trial starts and again three days before the first charge, so the date is never a surprise. One trial per account.
What will the charge look like on my statement?
It shows as GUITARSCRIBBLE.COM. Guitar Scribble is run by Rob Andrew Photography, Inc., and some banks and card apps display that company name instead of the website, so if you see either one, that is your Guitar Scribble Pro plan. Questions about a charge go to info@guitarscribble.com and reach me directly.
Is there a refund policy?
If you're not happy within the first 7 days of your subscription, contact us and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
What is "watermark-free export"?
Free accounts include a small Guitar Scribble mark on exports across the tools (tabs, chord diagrams, chord sheets, chord progressions, and set lists). Pro removes it everywhere, giving you clean, professional output you can hand to bandmates, students, or clients.
Does Pro include tab playback?
Everyone can preview playback in the tab editor for free. Pro unlocks full playback of the whole tab with real recorded guitar and ukulele sounds (plus a dedicated bass synth), and adds the metronome click and count-in during playback.
Can I export the editable .scrb project file?
Yes. A .scrb file saves your tab so you can reopen it later and keep editing. Every account gets a few free .scrb exports to try it out, and Pro members get unlimited .scrb exports.
